BAMBURGH CASTLE & YELLOW FIELD, NORTHUMBERLAND

Bamburgh Castle is much photographed, but the yellow crop provided a colourful foreground from which the castle appears to be emerging. Soon after I took this shot I realised I had managed to lock myself out of the car; my wife had to drive 50 miles to rescue me, by which time it was raining! (Canon EOS 20D, 1/125 sec)
