Craster Harbour
CRASTER HARBOUR, ‘NORTHUMBERLAND LIGHTS’
I have been the official photographer for Northumberland Lights since its inception. It takes place usually in November and December each year, when different icons and locations throughout the county are lit in tremendous fashion. Because of the time of year, it is almost always very cold, frosty, wet, or windy (or all)! I have to get the pictures no matter what, so there have been some testing times, and many adventures; but it is always inspiring to see Northumberland’s crags floodlit in colour, or harbours bathed in changing multi- colours, or forest walks aglow with colour. This was a particularly wild night! (Canon EOS 1ds III, 3.2 secs, f8)
