Souter is an iconic clifftop beacon. When opened in 1871, it was a technological marvel, being the first ever lighthouse built to use electricity.
There is something about Coastal & Harbour scenes that has always fascinated me. Whether it be High or Low tide, the play of light reflected onto Harbour walls or the sturdy shape of the coble. My colour palette is based mainly around Blues & the Earth colours & is strongly influenced by the colours to be found in Coastal images.
