Monument Cafe

This is a painting reflecting better times when we were allowed to roam freely through the City at night. We could pop into a cafe for a drink and relax just watching the world go by. This cafe is in the heart of Newcastle by the famous Grey’s  Monument. The listed buildings disappear down the left side down Grey’s Street with the Theatre Royal lit and open for business. Strong lights and reflections add to the atmosphere.
